ResMoSys Innovative Training Network

The central objectives of the research and training programme within this ITN encompass the following:

  • To train a new generation of highly skilled chemists in the applications of dynamic covalent chemistry and supramolecular interactions in chemical synthesis and for the development of new nanomaterials.
  • To create new knowledge about strategies to control dynamic reactions and their use for the synthesis of stimuli-responsive molecular systems and materials with “smart” properties.
  • To investigate the response of the molecular systems and nanomaterials to various stimuli, such as redox potential, chemicals and light.
  • To identify and develop new applications of stimuli-responsive molecular nanostructures and materials in such diverse fields as microfluidic systems, materials science (battery and display technologies), medicinal diagnostics (sensors), or therapeutics (drug delivery agents).
